What we Believe & Why.

The Holy Bible:-

We believe that the Bible and only the Bible is the one true authority for Christian Living and is the truly inspired Word of the Living God. It must be the final authority for the determination of truth and doctrine.

2 Timothy 3:16

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

2 Peter 1:20-21

20knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, 21for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

Other supporting Scriptures:- Proverbs 30:5; Romans 16:25-26: Romans 15:4;

We believe that the Bible, written by inspiration of God, is contemporary, applicable and directive for every generation and culture. The directives and doctrines of the written Word should be and must be that which forms true Christian culture today, regardless of other contemporary cultural dictates or influences. It must be the Word of God that effects and establishes Church culture and not culture dictating to the Church or overriding the Word of God. The Bible clearly warns of such times. (Ref 2 Timothy 3:1-7).

2 Timothy 4:1-Preach the Word

I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: 2Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

The Trinity:-

We believe that Bible supports and affirms the doctrine of the Trinity in that in one God there are three distinct persons. The Father, Son (Jesus) and Holy Spirit. They are all of the same substance, and are co-equal and co eternal.

Confirming reference scriptures:- Genesis 1:26; Matthew 28:19; Luke 1:35; Luke 3:22; Hebrews 3:7-11;

Isaiah 9:6.

6 For unto us a Child is born,

Unto us a  Son is given;

And the government will be upon His shoulder.

And His name will be called

 Wonderful, Counselor,  Mighty God,

Everlasting Father,  Prince of Peace.

Jesus Christ (God the Son).

We believe that Jesus Christ is God the Son, the second person of the Trinity. Begotten not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made (John 1:1-3). On earth He was complete man and complete God, the only man to ever live a sinless life. He is the complete, perfect and unblemished sacrifice for the sins of all that would turn to Him and is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other source of salvation.

Through His death upon the Cross of Calvary and His subsequent resurrection is established as total power and authority over all things both in this age and that which is to come. Head over all things to the Church which is His body. (Ephesians 1:20-23).
